. About the Presentation: Come and join your fellow chapter members in a great opportunity to network and an even better opportunity to learn how to improve your own workplace learning techniques. After lunch, local experts will lead interactive “cracker barrel” sessions (timed, facilitator-led discussions). Each facilitator will demonstrate and share a favorite technique they have proven successful in the workplace, and engage you in discussing how you can apply their experiences to your professional work. In a group session, you reap the benefit of bouncing ideas of other chapter members who can help you brainstorm practical applications of what you will learn. Four quick sessions will allow you time to explore several options and maximize your learning during this lunch program. Facilitators and Their Topics: - Rob Bateman – A Learning and Development Architecture for Developing Your Leadership Pipeline- Tips and Traps
- Dan Chenoweth – Developing participants’ workbooks that actually get used!
- Michael Clingan – Making your training strategic - why the Kirkpatrick Levels aren't enough and what to do about it
- Sue Fody – Guiding Subject Matter Experts on developing and presenting their own training courses
- Bob McDonnell – Mom was wrong--you should talk to strangers!
