Date: Monday, December 3, 2007 About the Presentation: Kick off the holiday season with a few reminders on the best way to make a positive, lasting impression at the annual holiday parties you will attend. Sharpen your skills by reviewing some of the best ways to strategically approach the round of social events coming in the next few weeks. Fine tune your ability to make a great first impression, to learn and remember names, and to exchange solid, meaningful information in the midst of the festivities. Polish your business etiquette, and brush up on your skills of making and continuing beneficial connections – without being rude or overbearing. And then – practice those skills with other attendees that night.
Meal: Will be provided. Cost: The cost of the meeting is $15 per person (includes meal), payable in advance by registering online (see link below) or by cash/check at the meeting. Non-members and guests are welcome to attend. Non-members and guests pay an additional $10 fee. If guests join ASTD-NRC the evening of their visit, the $10 guest fee is rolled into a $50 annual chapter membership fee. Be sure to ask about this discount!
