About the Presentation:
E-mail is becoming one of the most frequent methods of communicating in business.  So how do you, your employees, and/or your co-workers know what is expected when writing internal and external e-mails?  Think of the times you have had problems at work because of an e-mail that sent the wrong message.  Whether you are on the sending or receiving end, e-mail is the communication channel most susceptible to misunderstanding because of the lack of nonverbal signals and how easy it is to send a message without thinking it through.  Mistakes in these messages have cost many professionals a potential client or business relationship.

Many employees originally learned how to operate in the e-mail environment from an informal source, at home or at school. When habits developed in less formal environments appear in the workplace, they have the potential to create problems for the sender and the company who the sender represents. This seminar provides clear guidelines for elevating the professionalism, readability, and effectiveness of workplace e-mail communications.

Join us for this lunch program focusing on how to brush up on our electronic communication.  Learn from our presenter, Mary Sovick, how to streamline and make efficient your everyday communications—both in business and your personal life!
