Kevin Shrum is a
professor of organizational leadership with Regis University,
facilitating multiple courses within the Master of Science in
Organizational Leadership program. In addition to his Regis
duties, he is also a business and medical instructor at the
Institute of Business and Medical Careers in Fort Collins,
teaching many different general and technical courses. His work
and experiential history includes a 23-year career in the U. S.
Air Force medical service, with a variety of duty assignments
worldwide in direct patient care, inflight care, department
management, and executive leadership positions in several health
care facilities. Since his retirement from the military in
1994, he has been a health system management development
specialist, an independent management consultant, a financial
planner/investment advisor, and a financial services training
instructor for a credit union system. Kevin's academic
background includes associate's degrees as a certified medical
assistant/EMT and in Business Data Processing. His undergraduate
degree is a Bachelor of General Studies with a minor in business
administration, and he holds a dual-major Master's degree in
Management and in Computer Information Systems Management. A
former nationally certified Professional in Human Resources, his
professional memberships include the Society for Human Resources
Management and the American Society for Training and
Development, for which he serves as a member-at-large for the
Northern Rockies Chapter board of directors. |
