Doreen Kemp has
worked in the field of Learning & Training,
Organizational Development and Career Development for the past
18 years
as a career counselor, trainer, speaker, facilitator, program
manager,
and organizational change agent. She is currently the Learning &
Organizational Development Manager for the City of Fort Collins
Learning
& Wellness Division that serves approximately 1,500 employees.
Doreen
provides strategic guidance for the City's Wellness program,
manages the
learning & training function, and leads the City's leadership
and
organizational development initiatives.
She holds a Master's of Education degree with a focus in
Counseling and
Career Development from Colorado State University; a Bachelor of
Science
degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science
degree in
Sociology with a minor in Psychology from North Dakota State
University.
Doreen is affiliated with The American Society for Training &
Development, The American Society for Training & Development -
Northern
Rockies Chapter Board Member-at-Large, The Society for Human
Resources
Management, and The Northern Colorado Human Resources
Association.
Doreen has been championing and leading the business case for
focused
talent development for the City of Fort Collins employees in
order to
continue the organization's reputation of exceptional service
and
innovative practices that makes Fort Collins a world-class
