Barb Trowbridge is a Systems Analyst/ Software Trainer
with a passion for learning, researching, and helping
others to learn.
Barb received her BS in Biology/Chemistry prior to
working in Biomedical Research at the University of
Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston, Texas for
several years. In addition to her work as lab manager,
she trained Post -Doctoral students on laboratory
technique and processes. She received her MSBA with an
emphasis in Computer Information Systems from Colorado
State University and has held a variety of positions
from Project Coordinator to Technical Support Manager
for a small local startup company which rapidly grew
from 5000 to 66,000 subscribers.
Her work experience is varied and has spanned from
Biomedical Research to Travel to Software Training and
Development. The common thread through all of these is
training.
As the VP for Membership for the ASTD-Northern Rockies
Chapter, Barb is responsible for welcoming and greeting
new members, updating the local chapter membership
database, and coordinating with the National
representative regarding membership issues.
